Buggy Mumma is your initial step forward into exercise after the birth of your baby. After your 6/8 week GP check and when you feel well and ready this is the ideal outdoor exercise class for you without the worry of leaving your baby in a creche. Bring baby along with the buggy and join the Buggy Mumma's. Say goodbye to that jelly belly and mummy tummy and come along and try the specialist, tried and tested non impact, strengthening exercises. We work on core strength and focus on getting you back into those pre pregnancy jeans. It's a great chance to meet other mums in the area, get some fresh air and finally feel like YOU again.
If newly post natal you will need to have had your GP check and been cleared to exercise, this is usually 6-8 weeks. YOU MUST HAVE HAD YOUR check otherwise you will not be allowed to commence your course.
It is adviseable to wear trainers and bring along some water to the class.
Also it is usually a good idea to feed baby before coming to class, this means baby isn’t hungry and you can get an hour for YOU. If you’re breastfeeding this also ensures you are more comfortable to exercise.
Any buggy or pram is suitable as we do not go off-road and stick to pathways.
